TRAINING SERVICES

High-profile training systems and an increased demand on resources focus the spotlight on leadership and management’s ability to meet the end user’s expectations and mission goals in a reliable, consistent, and predictable manner. At ATC, we are committed to a philosophy that focuses on developing a realistic understanding of our customers’ needs and expectations, and providing timely, flexible, and effective responses to those needs. We specialize in leveraging existing and emerging technologies to maximize training value while reducing training costs.

TOOLS FOR PERFORMANCE

ATC’s success is anchored in high-performance, comprehensive analysis, and advancing innovative technologies with the goal of improving training effectiveness while reducing lifecycle costs.

At ATC, we’re very proud of the Training Systems Requirements Analyses (TSRAs) we’ve conducted for both military and civilian aircraft training systems. Through hard work, we’ve been able to accomplish proven results.

We meet with our customers to discuss their specific needs, requirements, and preferences then document our findings to “blue print” the desired training approach.

Our process begins with an in-depth TSRA to deliver curriculum-driven military and commercial solutions that adhere to our customers’ parameters for form, fit, functionality, and cost. The Department of Defense’s confidence in ATC has translated to a considerable TSRA portfolio that includes working closely with top United States Marine Corps (USMC) leadership to conduct TSRAs for the USMC Aviation Training Transformation program. ATC’s innovative TSRA processes resulted in combined cost savings of over $1.7 Billion for Marine Corps Aviation’s MV-22, CH-53, and KC-130J aircraft training systems.

Our portfolio also includes training system design for:

  • Canada’s CC-130J and CH-147
  • Kuwait’s S-92 and KC-130J
  • Air Force’s E-3G AWACS (DRAGON)
  • Advanced Pilot Training (APT)

ATC’s success is anchored in high-performance, comprehensive analysis, and advancing innovative technologies with the goal of improving training effectiveness while reducing lifecycle costs for clients in the DOD, military, and commercial operations.

ATC has a department comprised of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) experts with vast experience in DoD training development, and subject matter experts with years of military experience.

We earn the trust of our customers by using sound ISD and System Approach to Training (SAT) methodologies. This allows ATC to meet mission demands, develop solutions that address large-scale, complex training programs, and provide defined and focused solutions with premier products such as:

  • Training needs assessment
  • Gap analysis
  • Job/task analysis
  • Knowledge/skill analysis
  • Innovative media analysis
  • Curriculum/courseware development
  • Lesson specification reports
  • Training literature

Our Concurrency Management (CCM) process is provided to manage changes that routinely affect training systems. Creating our standardized CCM procedure during the development of a training system allows for rapid and less-costly incorporation of lessons learned, engineering change proposals, publication changes, and customer-defined requests. The procedures link curriculum objectives to training products through a curriculum database created and maintained by ATC.

ATC’s efforts have resulted in reduced costs, increased time savings, and improved accuracy of training documents. We use our knowledge and expertise to maximize results, reduce risk, meet requirements, and create a foundation for program compliance.

ATC’s reputation is built on our successful implementation of our Systems Approach to Training (SAT) model of training system analysis and development. The USMC and USAF rely on ATC for the design of their new aviation training systems for aircraft like the MV-22, KC-130J, CH-53E/K, and AWACS DRAGON. Our curriculum maximizes training effectiveness and reduces life-cycle costs. ATC’s efforts in advancing innovative technologies in our training development strategies are represented in our use of cutting-edge Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality development tools to offer our customers a leading-edge approach to advancing training effectiveness.

Our customers trust us with their most demanding missions. ATC provides top-tier instructors to ensure mission success. We provide the full range of instructional services including classroom, full-motion flight simulators, and inflight aircraft advanced instruction. Our team of instructors provides initial qualification, upgrade, captain/aircraft commander, instructor, and maintenance test pilot courses that are tailored for each customer. ATC offers aircraft ferry services, and advanced qualification training (formation, aerial refueling, search and rescue, NVG, etc.) to meet the specific customer’s needs. ATC also designs and develops maintenance training to meet the critical requirements of our customers’ support missions.
